    Weird sports you like?

Are you a fan of any sport that is a little different or pseudo sport like poker and actually watch it or follow it regularly? There are many examples:

    skateboarding
    motocross
    lumberjack competitions
    aussie rules football
    darts
    snooker/pool
    bull riding

I'm a fan of triathlon but that's because I do it myself. Same with running or track and field. Anyone have some weird ones like horseshoes or show jumping?
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

well i don't participate in any sports at the moment, but i used to race as part of a dragon boat racing team. That was a blast.

Other non-standard sports I like, but don't participate in:

    yes, those lumberjack things

    Obstacle course competitions

Slamball (that basketball game where the court is made up of these giant trampolines!)

Oh and, does MXC on Spike TV Count? Most Extreme Elimination Challenge?

Oh yeah! The voice overs on that are the best - and the top 10 eliminations at the end are always hilarious!

I haven't been tuning in since I've been going to bed so early lately, but man, I used to watch this show ALL THE TIME, and the marathons on weekends sometimes---so many hours sucked right out of my life. What a great show!

I like the lumberjack one where they have a 50 ft pole and need to hit it with an axe like 4 times, put a plank in, climb up on that plank, and then put one above that until they reach the top.

I also like watching those dog long jumping comps too.

Only other thing I can think of is American Gladiators, but that's been off for a long time.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

I am tired of watching mainstream sports keep on going down hill. If you ask the average American who was in last year's SuperBowl they will most likely not get it right ... but you can bet they remember Janet's tit shot.

Ultimate fighting and MMA stuff is great to watch. I still ride motocross and shoot pool so watching that stuff is normal to me. It is killer to watch the X-Games ... Mike Metsger doing back flips is good stuff.
