The BCS........
All I have to say, is that their ranking system is a piece of shit.
It's a good thing that my Rose Bowl plans fell through because they just royally fucked the Cal Bears over.
And let's not forget that co-champion bullshit with USC last year (though I certainly am not a fan of that school).

Because usually the Pac-10 is pure hype and no deliver. Pac-10 teams usually are horribly overranked and their schedules are usually a joke. Although this year is different, Ill admit.

Two comments;
1. I don't understand why people think Cal was entitled to a BCS game and Texas was not.
2. Bowls going to teams that don't deserve them has been going on forever and was MUCH, MUCH worse before the BCS.
In short, I think the BCS gets alot of crap that it does not deserve. Short of being a playoff system, there is not much that can be done when you have three teams deserving the NC game and too many teams deserving BCS spots. The playoff system is great... if all the players had to do was play football. Remember these guys are students, and all this falls for some around the time finals are finishing, and for others when the semester begins. It would be hard for a team to be gone for so many days when they also have class.

Ironically, does education even matter with college sports nowadays. I personally believe there is monetary influence that is the number one priority why there is no playoff system. Originally Posted by camarosuper6
