    Red Sox sign Edgar Renteria

    4 years, $40 million. Damn that's a lot of money for this guy, but I am psyched. As much as I like Orlando Cabrera, Edgar Renteria is BETTER.

    I am going to miss OC as well, but Renteria is a better hitter, better defensive player, and a clubhouse leader.

    I also agree that the Sox overpaid, but they had to to get him.
