    i completely see how this situation sucks for you, so don't get me wrong here. Cuz even though i dislike the NHL, i LOVED playing hockey,

    i grew up playing street hockey with all my boys, and was actually just as good as them. but when it came to the ice it was a whoooole different story haha.

    i ended up playing in "legit" games for the first time ever in intermural hockey at uconn. SOOOO much fun, esp. cuz i beat my boy in goals throughout the whole season, and i got the first penalty of my career....roughing

    I am one of those guys... The NHL is a joke and both the players and the owners have ruined it. I watch during the playoffs, cause that is the only time anyone gives a shit. Fuck I still play hockey at 28 and plan to till I am in a wheel chair. Been playing since I was 3... But what the NHL has done is a joke. so Fuckem

    To Hell with all ya's all. I love the NHL and miss it terribly. Every year my Flyers would take me to incredible highs and then dump me into an incredible low. It was great. The Flyers and the Eagles are my two sports passions, now I'm down to one. That's OK though, the Eagles are gonna win it all this year.

    I'm a huge hockey fan and I occasionally miss my Leafs but I think it will be truly missed the most once the NFL finishes up.

    That said, ordinarily I would be missing the game a lot more than i currently do... but Both sides seriously disgust me. The game is on thin ice already....

    When your Canadian like me it's almost a relief that hockey will be away for some time.......Canadians have to learn that there are OTHER sports out there besides hockey.
