Yankees rotation makes more than most teams

    Just saw this stat:

The starters on the Yankees rotation this year will make 64 million dollars this year. That is higher than the entire payroll of 13 teams in MLB. That's 5 players making more than most teams. Freaking ridiculous.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

Yeah, that's pretty nuts. Then again, the Yankees are playing within the rules, so fault the system, not the Yankees.

It is higher, actually. The Yankees will pay $25 million in luxury tax this year, and the Devil Rays (lowest salary team in baseball) payroll is $24 million.
