"A man can be as great as he wants to be. If you believe in yourself and have the courage, the determination, the dedication, the competitive drive and if you are willing to sacrifice the little things in life and pay the price for the things that are worthwhile, it can be done. The harder you work, the harder it is to surrender." ~Vince Lombardi

I don't see why he's a loser. Why would he give his hundred thousand dollar custom made "11" necklace?

the mistake he made was actually giving the teen his own personalized jewelry
Chuck Norris once lost his keys and couldn't remember where he put them. So he tortured himself for half an hour until he gave up their location.

He is not a loser for not giving the kid the necklace, but his a big time ass for giving it and then taking it back.

Oh, I dont know... the kid was some wheelchair bound dude that wanted his "bling bling". At first I thought he was a dumb ass for giving it to him... and being that the press was there he certainly was. However, after I thought about it for a bit I figure the kids going to feel great just meeting Culpepper and getting to wear his necklace. He should have told the kid that he could wear it during the interview and then he'd get it back from him.

Being that he went right over and gave it to him I dont think he did so maliciously, and he probably assumed the kid would just get it that he was lending them to him for a little bit. Just a poor case of communication... but he in fact might have meant to say something but Mom and Pop busting out spontaneously about buying safes and crying and shit might have thrown him off.

I'm not a huge fan, but I think people try too much to be offended about silly shit like this.
