The tripple jump looks like it takes alot of skill. I enjoy all the track and field events with the exception of the shot and javelin. Whats your best jump?

I ran track in H.S. and college.

    Specailty was 800 meters. P.R. was 1:51.

It's fun to run 4:40 miles as a warmup!

9.77 seconds is the 100 meter record.

If you ran 9.78 17 years ago we would know who you are.

BTW, the qualifying time for the Olympics in the mens 800 meters is 1:48 for the B calss, and 1:46 for the A class.

    I can't do that today!?!?!

I think my best in HS was a 10:22...
I ran the 10:17 during training while in the Military...

My coaches were more motivating -

There was a guy that was 47, that ran sub 10's at will
he was a badass, he could do it in boots,
and paced us one time in boots and a rifle!

I think once you go over the 400m you need to be a light guy to be able to keep up that kind of speed.
