looks like he might have tkane steroids after all..will be interesting to see if they tell us what he tested positive for exactly.It's too bad. Rafael was one of those players u really look up to on and off the field for all his work with charity and the 500 homers.

I disagree, this has been discussed here a thousand times and I still think steroids gives players too much of an edge.
The stronger you are the further you will hit the ball. Just look at the numbers these guys are putting up.

Baseball is a game of numbers and records and steroids will destroy that.

Raffi... Fucked up big time. They showed some stats this year for Raffi, not that it means anything

But before May 10th he was hitting .202 with a HR every 99/AB, since May 10th he is hitting .303 with a HR every 14/AB

The shit he can get for lying to congress, HAHAHa I hope he gets time, cause a fine will mean shit.

I wish steroids GH and all the other sh1t didn't enhance athletic performance in any way......It would be great to live in a fair and safe world...............................Dream on it will never happen.

Steroids are all over the sports world from the winners to the losers, from pro sports to class C high school football.

Why let only the best connected athletes use the sh1t....ie the best Doctors working for the team ect. Drug testing is a joke.............I mean a big joke. When they can really find a way to test everyone all the time and catch them every time then I will agree with you.

Lets face it, athletes are always looking for an edge. Whether it's a spitball or a screwball, a corked bat or pine tar on receivers hands in football.
If they can get an edge and get away with it they will. I remember hearing a story that ballplayers used to use uppers for an edge, so I guess drugs are nothing new.

Not sure if this is true, but I heard that in the MLB, once a player has been tested once (surprise test), he can't be surprise tested again for the rest of the year. If that was the case, would each player wait until he was tested and then juice up.

Why don't they just run Test? I don't see how you could test positive for it unless the caught you mid cycle?
