    Fantasy football help

I've got to choose two starters this week:

    Deuce McCallister
    Willis McGahee
    Brian Westbrook

I can't believe I'm thinking about this, but I'm seriously considering sitting Deuce. Any thoughts?

Well you got Deuce and Willis going against two tough D's. It's a tough choice but I'd still start them over Westbrook.

I dunno. Westbrook is playing the 49er's this week. I think he will have a great game. Probably 2 td's. Just start Westbrook.

Yeah, I think that's the way I'm going. I'm starting Mcgahee and Westbrook. You'll probably see me in here kicking myself on Monday but, what the hell?

Do you RBs get points for receptions?

    Westbrook catches alot of balls.

Oh, and what is this a 5-team league? You have three first round backs in both of my leagues. Three top 10 picks in one.

I guess I'm the only one who'd sit'em. We'll see... That's why they play the game.

Our backs get one point for every 20 rushing yards and one point for every 30 receiving yards. That's another reason I'm leaning toward Westbrook.

Yeah, I got pretty lucky in the draft. For some reason there was an early run on QB's and WR's. Peyton Manning and Randy Moss went quick so every body panicked. I just kept raking in good RB's. My starting QB is Drew Breese, so I'm not at all upset about waiting.

P.S. It's a 10 team league. My #4 RB is Steven Jackson from the Rams. I think I'm set for RB's.

Mcgahee sucked this week. I lost this week because I put in Lelie instead of TJ. Housh. Next week I will start Housh.

So far it looks like I should have gone with Westbrook and Steven Jackson. I went with Westbrook and Mcgahee. I'll be interested to see what McCallister does tonight. I think I'm gonna stick with Westbrook and McCallister until the other two show me some consistancy.

Luckily I won my matchup. I was up by 21 with no players left and my opponent had Trent Green and Priest Holmes still to play. First time in my life I was cheering for Da' Raiders. I ended up winning by 7.

I hear ya' on Ashley Lelie. He's my #3 WR and he hasn't done a thing yet this year. I keep hoping Denver will start producing. I'm hurting at that position since I lost Javon Walker. (My wife has T.J. Housh.................and she left him on the bench too.)

The other thing that keeps getting me is Wiggins. Everything I read says he will do well, but I guess Culpepper is not producing. However, I keep making the mistake and benching McMichaels. Not next week forget about Culpepper and wiggins.

    OK who to start?
    Brady versus PIT
    or
    Brees versus NYG

    Second question
    Martin versus JAC
    or
    Barlow versus DAL
    or
    Blaylock versus JAC
I would normally just stick with Martin, but he may not start. I am not sure if it is worth the risk.

The man to have this week is Shaun Alexander vs the tender run defense of the overrated Cardinals.

I have LT for my first RB position. If Martin is hurt, then I have a big problem with my second RB position.

LT is a stud. He has a "matchup" problem this week, but most weeks he will be the best RB to have.

Why? It's not like he's been lighting up the scoreboard this season. And going against the Steeler's D is gonna be ROUGH. It's not like I have a choice, but I'm going with Brees. (My backup is Delhomme.)

If Brees was doing a little better, I wouldn't be worried. However he did horrible last week against Denver. Brady might be the safer pick. Not sure if I want to risk it.

What do you think of my RB situation. Risk Martin or go for Barlow? I also have Blaylock.

Wow, that's a good question. My philosophy is usually to stick with the studs. The problem with that is the studs seem to be nothing more than duds this year. I think I'd risk Martin one more week before experimenting.

    Play the matchups son!!
I'm 33 years old, 5'-10", and 169lb - I'm fairly lean and have an athletic shape. My goal is to cut down to 164lb in six weeks, w/o sacrificing muscle mass. HELP!!

McCardell seems to be more steady whereas Coles will put up huge numbers one game and then not show up at all the next. Guess you have to decide which is more important.

Anybody got a 1st string QB they don't need. I'll give you Deuce McCallister for him.
