what team has the better pitching?

it's ironic that there are 4 former yankee starters in the World Series.

Not really Ironic. Yankees could afford them so they bought them when they needed them.

Astro's in 6... Been a Roger Clemens fan since I was a kid

Pettitte was drafted by the Yankees.
Contreras and Hernandez were signed when they defected from Cuba. They did not belong to any other major league team.

While I will not dispute the fact that the Yankees buy players when they are needed, it is not the case with the 4 pitchers being discussed, Clemens being the exception.
