He meant when they leave games and board buses a flights, in other words going to and from work.

You have to admit watching AI with a doo rag and shades during an interview is pretty tacky. I used to admire the way Jordan dressed, during an interview he always looked sharp....not a bum like these million dollar babies.

I also like to add that a lot of older crowd actually prefer the dressing up rather than the dressing down, I mean really why dress like you don't have money.

I agree, if I was in their position I would dress up in an expensive suit. It also looks tacky to me when they dress thug, but I also respect there independence and think that they should be allowed to dress as the please!

I agree, the way any sports star dresses doesn't really matter to me but if they issue a dress code then comply with it. They don't care how you dress while your at home or shopping but during interviews that's just part of thier million dollar salary.

The funny thing is they only play like what 4 to 5 months out of the year....

They can wear what they want when they are not at a team function. I could careless. But, if you are entering the stadium, leaving the stadium, giving an interview that is team re-lated then look fucking professional. Those guys are paid big bucks. The least they can do is look like they are professionals.

Aside from that I was just being a smart ass saying that they already are allowed to wear what ever they want when they are on the court so at least they can dress up off the court.

Everyone has jobs that have dress codes. These spoiled brats are no different.

No on is making them wear anything. They can simply get another job. Same as my employees.

What they forget is that their employer who pays them their salaries are asking them to do this because the fans that make it so the team can pay the salaries want it.

Problem with NBA players, much more so than NFL or MLB players, is that they were treated special all their life. This changes your attitude and makes you think that the guy who signs your check has no say in how you dress on the job.

sure it does. it makes them look unprofessional. No one wants to have unprofessional employees. That is why you work at McDonald's instead of in an office.

If you can't read, spell or speak at least you could dress the part.

If you work at McDonalds you have a required dress code (uniform)

Not during an interview, there is a time and place for everything.

How would it look if I was to wear a clown suit to your wedding or funeral....stupid right.

Same goes for wearing a 3 piece suit to the beach. You dress accordingly.

What difference is it if the shirt costs $5.00 or $500.00, I am still not impressed.
