What a great game. The TD by Texas was controversial but.........it was still a great game. That is how the BCS championship game is supposed to be. How freakin long has it taklen them to get it right?

There is always going to be controversial calls in football. The game was amazing despite any "bad" calls. It also proved that the "great Texas D" was only great from playing the Big 12. This ended up being a shoot out. How many overtimes do you think it would have taken for one of the offenses to not score?

He should, so that way when his NFL career flounders, he will have a degree to fall back on. Too many college players pass up on degrees only to choke in the big dance.

He will only win if he is on a good team with a good coach. He is a badass and has proven it many times. He needs to work on his consistency. Last night he was on fire, picking apart the defense with little effort.

I agree. Vince Young will go the way of Rodney Peete and Andre Ware.

Vince Young may not fair well in the NFL. However he will, when he decides to go, sign a deal worth in excess of 10 million dollars. That my friend is more money than anyone of us on this board will make in several years maybe even a lifetime. So to critisize his abilities on your part is somewhat fultile, because he is obvious good enough to consider options you will never have. Now, is he good enough? Only time will tell. He is however the top rated passer in the NCAA. Perhaps everyone has missed that point.

Making all that money doesn't mean shit. Take a look at all the celebrities and sports players that end up wioth nothing because they don't know how to handle all that money. There are quite a few that end up filing for bankruptcy. Now, as far as my opinion on his skill, it's just that, an opinion. So you can take it with a grain of salt my friend. I just see a player similar to so many that have been "predicted" to be great, only to bite the big one once they play in the NFL. Personally, I do hope he succeeds, as another QB with the excitement he can bring would be great to watch!

I just whiped my ass with 10 million, I make that when I fart.

I think Texas won because of the East Coast bias.

Dale for once i totally agree with ya man ... UT's offensive passing domination had nothing to do with it. You are always soooo right on with your perspectives ... lol.

    Awaits execution.
