Hughes is in his prime and Royce is over the hill. Hughes will when but its a good match up either way.

But Gracie is just a legend. I heard a saying once "to be the man, you gotta beat the man". Guess thats wat hughes will have to do.

they had franklin knock off shamrock and now they are having matt knock off gracie so they can give their new stars fame amoung the layman who knows no other names than gracie and shamrock

when is the fight?

In may so we got awhile.Does anyone know if this is for the title or is it just an exibition match. That'd be so tight if Gracie became the champ again.

Matt Hughes beat Frank Trigg. That's so gay, Trigg doesn't know how to submit, Trigg had him in a Rear Naked Choke, TWICE. Gracie could easily submit him.

Matt Hughes does not suck.

In submissions, he does.

Hughes also beat St. Pierre, who is very good all around.

Did you see the fight with Frank Trigg where he had his nuts kicked, was choked, then got out of it, and finished the fight by choking trigg. And he won his last fight by submission.

Trigg is a division 3 all american wrestler not a submission expert which was made quit apparent when he faced matt huges and had his back twice. Beating people who suck at submissions doesn't make you an expert. When Matt beat Georges, Georges was a purple belt... hell im a purple belt lol Matt is a brown belt at best but is an outstanding division 1 all american wrestlier. that is what give his such a good advantage but compared to someine who is 4th dregree black belt in brazilian jiu jitsu that being Royce Gracie, he sucks on the ground. Have you seen the Matt vs. BJ fight? Matt got tooled. So i keep my previous statement that Matt sucks at submissions

BJJ takes a long time is very hard to master (brown or black belt)

I'd say it is easier to be a professional wrestler, than it would to be professional at BJJ.

True and I dont think well know which is better pride or ufc until they face each other which wont prolly happen. I like UFC. Pride is never on when I watch tv. It may be better, maybe not.
