They traded Marte, Shoppach and cash for Crisp.
Now alls we need is a SS and that should do it

I'm with you on that one. The window of opportunity only stays open so long. That's what worries me about my Cardinals.
Is Albert Pujols going to be the best baseball player of our generation? I think he is.

If he were to keep injuries to a minimum..............................
The numbers he's put up his first 5 years are unbelievable. The only reason he got a chance is because Fernando Tatis got hurt in spring ball  Lucky break for the cards.

Sweet Lou Whitaker was my all time favorite from your generation, TT. A native of the Bronx (that's for you Mino  his career stats are on par with any second bagger in the hall. Problem is, he was such an ass to media that he was nixed on his first ballot  Fucking politics strike again!
