    Little League World Series

Just watched US win little league world series over Japan. ESPN can't get a decent interview with anyone because they are all crying. Kid from japan is on 2nd base in last inning with two outs and down by one and he's already crying before last out is made. Money sure screws things up. Too bad pro sports athletes don't have emotion like that.

Must be heart-breaking for those kids. The amount of pressure on them, and they are only like 11-13. I wanted Japan to win.

My friend was insulting the players because they are kids, "Why are they getting so upset? It's only a game, they are only kids." Then I replied, "Yeah, it is still just a game in the pros." He was quiet for a bit, trying to come up with a good reply, "Yeah, but they are getting payed in the pros." That is why this is better! They aren't getting payed! How does money make it a better game, come on.

I never cried over sports, but I don't shame people that ever did. I saw one of the toughest mother fuckers to ever play highschool football shed a few tears when we lost in the third round of the play-offs during my senior year.

When you leave that much of yourself on the field, it fucking hurts to lose. Not to mention, those Japs train 10 times harder with 100 times more disipline than we do. They actually believe in things like teamwork and honor. They probably felt like they let their entire country down when they lost.

Most of these kids don't lose, so they don't know how to handle it when they do. Plus, the Japanese probably get caned for losing.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.
