Ok it is confirmed now, 2yr 20mil pending a physical.

They better fucking sign Vernon Wells before the end of the season.

He had a great "comeback" season this past year. But is there any chance in hell he has two good productive seasons in a row without getting hurt?

I dunno he is 38 and to sign him for two years at 10mil a year seems crazy.

I just have a bad feeling.

I thought both sides were happy in Oakland?

He was offered a contract at the end of the season, but said he wanted to explore the free agent market. and He found suckers in the Jays.

I think Frank Thomas has a few more good seasons left in him. I can't believe Oakland traded him after riding his dick so hard last year and telling the media that he was the "face of the culb house and a real motivating factor for everyone".

He was a free agent and he rejected the A's offer to explore free agency.

I think the Turf at the dome will have a huge impact his injuries. But who knows.

He's a DH. How much field time will he get?

The guy is prone to injuries, shit just walking on the field will probably injure him.

it depends. I don't know how new the turf is in toronto, but they are really starting to make some nice turf surfaces these days that have some give and respond better, like real grass. It isn't like the 80s and 90s when a turf field was essentially a green rug lied down over concrete. that is how the injuries happened. the concrete had no give.

It is one of the newer grass like turfs. Just replaced like a couple of years ago, when Ted Rogers bought out the team

If he can stay healthy he will still hit 30 homers and drive in atleast 85. I mean come on guys hes a big ole boy. But this is only if he stays healthy and I am not seeing that.
