WTF! There is something seriosly wrong with the NFL.

For those of you who watched the Monday night football, you undoubtedly saw the terrible calls the referees made during the game (makes one think that the NFL is fixed, which it probably is). The referees literally handed Seattle the game, it was f***ing ridiculus. The roughing the passer penalty on Jenkins in the 4th quarter was a totally bogus call. Right after that they showed a Seattle guy doing far worse to Farve, but the thing is it should not have been a penalty. The pass rusher was already tackling the QB while he was throwing and then he didn't even try to actually tackle Hasselback, he put his hands outside his body. And on top of that Seattle was holding on every passing play. It was so obvious and right in front of the referees. I guarantee if the Packers would've held like that there would've been flags all over the place.

    The NFL blows.

They certainly have punished the Steelers enough for that game in question.

They didn't hand anything to the Seapussies.

The packers stunk and didn't capitalize well enough with the 4 turnovers in the first half. Alexander made the left side look like little kids were there, running for over 200 yds.

Favre played well, but still chose inopportune times to try and thread the needle.

This is from a Packers fan.

They were doing their best to hand Chicago their game with two ridiculous pass interference calls (one of which should have been offensive if anything). I'm not a New England fan but the reffing was truly terrible.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

Would that be little children in addition to the linemen there, or just children in place of the linemen? Also, I don't know if you have been to a Walmart in a while, but some of those fat shits probably weigh as much as a lineman.

Yeah the Pats always seem to get screwed by PI calls. The worst was against Denver in last year's playoffs.

As soon as that happened, I kicked down my front door, jumped into my car and started driving to Foxboro.
Luckily I listened to the radio on the way up and heard the Pats won, otherwise there would've been 3 unsolved referee murders.
You're a funny guy, Sully, I like you. Dat's why I'm going to kill you lahst.

I agree with everything you said EXCEPT this. Come on..overstated a bit? At least it wasn't as bad as getting screwed in teh Super Bowl.

You basic point is 100% accurate though. The NFL has gotten totally ridiculous about roughing the passer. I think it has gotten so bad that the owners WILL do something about it in the offseason. That call in the Seattle game was a perfect example.

Kinda of like they asked the referees to actually SEE holding before calling it in the wake of the Super Bowl.

I think they need to start reviewing Pass Interference calls.
