If you could play in the NFL........

What position would you want to play?

I always used to say that I would love to play on the defensive line and hit people.

But now, I gotta say.....I would love to play on the offensive line. They are just these big dudes, with tats all over their arms, and they are totally crazy, just hitting people. I would love to be a lead blocker when they pull the offensive line, and run around the line and lay the fucking smack on someone.

The one thing I like about the O line is the camarade they share.

I like linebacker and and free safety. on D.

On offense wide reciever or running back.

    wide reciever if playing offense
    defensive line if playing defense

I would love to be a receiver though because i like catching balls and it would be insane to pull off amazing 1-hand catches or do some crazy moves to fake defenders out

I was waiting for a comment like that.

I just figured it would be the best of both worlds, get to be a key part of offensive plays, lay some serious blocks, and be an important reciever as well.

still.....I just don't see anything cooler than playing i the trenches of the O-line.

Tight end would be a good position too.

    but think about it

they do the most work out of anyone else other than RB (maybe) and it seems like a boring position. Offensive linemen very rarely get the recognition they deserve while the QB's, RB's, Receivers and defensive stars get all the hype

Running back, just like my idol, Ricky Williams.

Who am I kidding, I don't even like football. Except playing it now and then on a fine fall afternoon with some chaps.

OLB, my HS position. You get occasional coverage and get to hit almost every play.

I also enjoyed kickoff team alot, you jsut run down and throw yourself into the wedge.
You guys are going to lose. You might as well just cheer for me, because Boston isn’t winning in Boston for the season opener. I’m sorry. " - Gilbert Arenas

1/2 back and nose tackle or defensive tackle--the games are won/lost in the trenches.

They still practice. Plus you'd look like a chump twice a season when you ahve to amke the punt return tackle and get your shaken out of your shoes.

They had a doc about the broncos about five years ago and Tom Rouen and Elam would play 18 holes of golf before they would go to practice when everyone else had been there for two hours already
