I thought this was the best fight of the night ... not tapin' out on that leg sub was fricken outstanding.
If he lasts ... you can bet that's part of the deal ... that he lasts. He gets beat he is tossed back down with the soddamites. If he got hit in the noggin by that can Sanchez then Chucky will find his chin too ... Chucky has been known to knock a fella out that way. So have guys like Babaloo and a few of the others waiting in the UFC line-up looking out for a chance to earn their way back up the food chain.
When the salaries are put out there like that it's pretty obvious that Rampage and Cro Cop's fights were intentionally weighted WAY towards them. Gives the fights far less credibility IMO. Put them against real opponents and they might deserve money like that.
And there is no way they are paying Cro Cop 3-4 million for 6 fights. Maybe with endorsements but they can't justify paying him $500-750,000 per fight and only paying their champions $250,000 per fight. It would be terrible for company morale and piss a lot of people off.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.
The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.
Cro Cop's technical strikes would ruin chucks looping punch's.[/quote]
OMG dude you took what I said and created an alternate universe where I think Chucky is on the same level as Cro Cop. No I don't at all. They're not in the same weight class. But he is close to it by the obvious fact that he still holds his belt after so many have tried to take it from him. This is the list of woulda-couldas. Chuck is most likely gonna get beat by Rampage, but he outta ALL the other guys on the OLD UFC line-up ... has the best chance.
Now will Big-Tim-The-Dork beat him? If he connects then Cro Cop is in for a nap. Big Tim is great for Cro Cop though because of the open area that is his liver. A few good shots to da liver and down he goes. I predict that Cro Cop will break Tim's liver.

I think both Chuck and Rampage have better than a punchers chance vs. Cro-Cop. While his strikes are second to none, his chin is probably slightly above average at best and either of them could put him to sleep.
And if Rampage looks like he did the other night when he fights Chuck, he won't win either.
My buddy and I were saying the same thing. I don't know if it was first time jitters in the octagon or something, but Rampage didn't look like himself. I'm anxious to see what his next challenge is. I hope the UFC doesn't rush him into a title bout. I'd like to see what he can do against some of the other top Light heavies first.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.
