That is what the NBA said. They said that they would cancel is future appearances, because his views did not represent the views of the league. Frankly, the NBA can do whatever they want. I don't watch basketball.

They weren't saying he couldn't hate people. They were saying that his opinions are an embarrassment to the league, and they will not allow future appearances or some shit like that. They aren't throwing him in jail or anything.

I can’t walk into my job yelling I hate niggers! Part of being a professional is understanding when to shut your fucking mouth. If you can’t do that, then you risk having career problems.

But like I said before, I don't give a shit either way.

Sure, you can't say it at your work place, there are corporate (and federal) rules for that; but you can say it anywhere else you want to. He wasn't on the court when he said it; which is his work place.

Ya, but being in the public eye and making comments like that shouldnt have been done. Not that I disagree with what he was saying he is a role model and it just looks bad coming from him. Its tough to figure out what should be sensored and what not, but then he turned around and has apologized like 2 times now. With that even he knew he shouldnt have said it.
