    That fight is from like 13 years ago. Gloves were optional back then and normally worn for hand protection more then anything.

    o alright, but woudlnt that mess up his grappeling abilities and his punches would hurt less. and that was really his only advantage.

    Back when this sport was starting to get televised you could take someone out with ball shots. I think it was Fry who was fighting someone and just starting hooking him in the nuts ... the opponent was on his back and Fry was on his knees and he just started wailing on the dude till he tapped out. It made me cringe to see the guy lay there for 10 minutes in the fetal position barely conscious.

    Point is before the sport was regulated people did some wild shit ... but some fucking stupid things too.
