K1 is primarily a kickboxing organization, but I believe Hero's rules = MMA rules.

I want to see Jake Shields in there vs. some top opposition.

    Make it happen Dana!

You're exactly right ReproBro. K-1 was doing well untill UFC made it's comeback than K-1 tanked ... sooooo they opted to go with Pride's MMA rules as a separate class from their kick-boxing division. K-1 has had some outstanding fighters like Cro-Cop and Mark Hunt on it's roster ... not to mention everyone's fav Boob Sapp. Personally, if it weren't for this being a Showtime event I would advertise it because K-1 has done some shady shit in the past. However ... this being a Showtime deal it will be clean I'm sure.

I know I post this too much ... but it's just damn funny. Boob Sapp lowlights ...

From what I've read Gracie vs. Sakuraba was an absolute snooze fest....

    Still looking for it.

The event took forever. They would walk town these steps that took about 3 mins. Then they would ride in a golf cart made to look like chariot to the ring that took about 3 more mins. I was falling asleep by the time Brock came on. He pretty much pumbled the dude. I saw some skill out him though. He looked good. Gracie vs Sakuraba was a good fight. I thought it was a fun fight to watch. The crowd kept booing them. L.A idiots don't know good jiu jitsu when its right in front of them.

i watched the first 3 fights, all great fights... good knockouts. But as far the show and the presentation, it was a complete hack job.

Holding the event in a stadium was a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad idea.

The Gracie fight was only 1/2 of a fight. Suke didn't do shit while Gracie tried to stay busy. Very disappointing.

The other fights were all good. Lesner was just a beast at 262 pounds and made short work of the short guy.

Overall it was a good event ... not great but good. I expected better from Showtime. We'll see how their next one with Shamrock and Baroni goes later this month.
