mountain bikes woes

OK, so I ordered my new bike on May 12, knowing it would be a four week delay. After four weeks were up, I was told it'd be another four weeks. After those four weeks were up, I was told it would be another 8 to 10 weeks. So basically, the bike I ordered on May 12 was now scheduled for a late August delivery date. Needless to say, I was pissed. So I called the bike shop and bitched, and I called the manufacturer and bitched. All that bitching got me a frame and shock upgrade at no additional charge ($400 upgrade), and the bike will be delivered next week.

So the Titus Switchblade I ordered is a thing of the past. I am now getting a Titus Quasi-Moto. The Quasi-Moto is a pound heavier, but I was able to lose the pound by swapping out the coil shock for an air shock. WOO HOO!

The Quasi-Moto (mine will be chrome-colored):

Cool bike, but that little seat would make it feel like that post is shoved up my arse.

The small seat makes maneuvering the bike easier. Bigger seats tend to get in the way. Your ass gets used to it.

Sad.....I put in ten times the effort picking out a bike than I did picking out my last car.

yyyyup...spindled XT.

I get up to 6" of rear travel. I can toggle between 4.5" and 6", and I can get up to 7.5" if I decide to buy the upgrade kit.

Wow! I'd kill my self with that much travel... I'm up to 4' wheelie drops now with a hard tail. A double boinger with 7" would give me confidence in a can.
