the nba's salary cap is such that kidd cannot be traded to a lot of the teams that could use his services. if avery johnson was telling the truth and the mavericks aren't interested, it doesn't leave many contenders available who have the needed expiring contracts with the youth/draft picks to go along with it.
It's going to be interesting to see how the Lakers can gel toward the endo of the season.
I would like to see them take out San Antonio and if that happens, it would be hard to see an East team beat them especially if Kobe is now kicking back a little bit better now that Pau is around.
