No Brady but it was obvious in both games they werent the offensive monster they have been with him. I don't see and AFC championship game for them this year.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bills take the AFC East

Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.

Week 4!

The Rams will be lucky to win three games this season, and the only reason they might actually win a few games is that they still have enough talent on offense (Bulger, Holt, Jackson) to outscore a couple of teams.

Fantasy football has nothing to do with team accomplishments.

This is a thread highlighting the accomplishments of the 2008 New England Patriots, not how in the post-Super Bowl era Randy Moss would line up alongside Jerry Rice as the best wide out to ever play the game.

When DeSean Jackson shows his true (skin) color/s and drops the ball in celebration before entering the end zone stripping fantasy teams across the world of a touchdown, that'll be posted in the Fantasy Football thread.

Seven quarters into the Matt Cassell era, a 2-0 record, and the Patriots have no chance this year?

I'm not saying the Patriots are going to win the Super Bowl this year, but writing them off right now is foolish IMO.

The Jets through the first two weeks look very much like the 7-9/8-8 team I thought they'd be when they made the Favre trade. The Bills have been great and will be the Patriots toughest division foe, but that has a lot more to do with their schedule than the talent they possess. The Dolphins, blah.

With that said, the Bills will not win the Super Bowl this year and really aren't even on the Super Bowl radar as far as I'm concerned. The same can't be said for the Patriots.

Even Ricky had 98 yards on the ground in addition to Ronnie's 100+ and Pennington was 17 for 20.

Yep... shoulder troubles did him in.

he doesn't have jay cutler or aaron rogers arm strength, but it's really not as bad as they keep saying. When he is healthy its just fine for what he needs. he is super accurate.

Not bad at all, he knows how to "spot" throw.

I've always thought highly of Chad, he has great mechanics and has a good mind for the game. But even before his shoulder problems he wasn't known for having the strongest arm around.

I've never seen so many wide open receivers in one game in my life.

As a diehard Patriots fan, i am not surprised. I watched them during preseason and the starting D was getting lit up by 2nd stringers on offense. Even with Brady, the Patriots wouldn't be as good as they were last year. I predicted a 11-5 season with a loss in the 2nd round of the playoffs but now with Cassel at the helm, i won't be surprised if they miss the playoffs.

The Patriots had a good run. All good things come to an end. I truly enjoyed the past 8 years watching them dominate the league and bringing home 3 SB's (could've easily been 5) but i couldn't be any happier. Half the team is getting old and most will be gone in a couple years. It'll be a rebuilding phase all over again in a couple years and they will be back to "average".

watch any team the denver broncos secondary plays against. they are giving up 300 yrds a game and a 72 percent completion rate.
