That's what I said.

I tried pleading with him to stay but he gave me the "In my 59 years on this planet, I've never left a game early.. but it's clear, this Rays team is just far superior than the Red Sox."

I again told him he was crazy predicting an Ellsbury "Dave Roberts" like moment to win the game; I'll take a JD Drew walk off though

Delcarmen was in the clubhouse when the hitting started and Daisuke didn't allow him to go back out to the dugout until the game was over.

Similarly, I moved couches with my friend on my request and wasn't able to move until the game ended. Stupid? Sure, but worth it? Hell yea.

i was watching the game in and out of consciousness, in the 7th when i saw big papi on deck i knew a comeback was coming. however maybe it was the drugs speaking?

I too was watching that game with one eye open. When I heard that the Redsox won, I thought I fell asleep and was dreaming. That was one for the history books, boy.
