My opinion on Hockey has changed since...

.....I watch it now on a 50'' HD screen, watching it on a 27 does the game no justice.

HD..... makes a world of difference for Hockey.

Rangers still suck.

Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.

They destroyed that team, bad ownership the past few years.

I'm not sure, I have to check but I doubt it.

Maybe if I were to purchase one of those Hi def. tv's I'd get into hockey?

My biggest complaint of that game is, I can't follow that damn puck.

Do high def. tvs clarify this?

We don't want your type. I remember when fox made the puck glow on tv and when it went over a certain speed a blue streak followed it.

Unfortunately following the puck is part of understanding the game, and how to play.

It was mine also.

Hockey to me is much more exciting than soccer, at least now that I can follow the puck....and those close ups of body checks....awesome.
I can imagine being there live.

That looked so fake and cartoonish.

oh and HD TV or no HD TV, without a doubt hockey is the best sport to watch live period. end of discussion.

oh, but yes, hockey in HD is also very fabulous. One of the main reasons I will not switch to Verizon Fios is because they don't carry the local hockey channels in HD, so I am stuck with Cablevision, but at least I get to watch the Rangers in HD every game.

Every year I go through the same ritual. When the season would start, I'd sit there trying to get into it, but I couldn't follow the damn game, so I'd switch to something else.

Time for a new tv, I guess.

I agree, It doesn't even help when women are playing that game. Usually, when women play just about any other sport, I'll watch.
