4500 yards passing and a pro bowl while leading the 2nd ranked offense when 7 running backs were placed on IR in his third season isn't shit. and he was 13-1 as a starter when his defense decided they wanted to have a heartbeat that day.

thats what i said about the defense needing to have a heart beat. if you put him on a team with a defense ranked in the middle of the pack everything changes. 17-20 is not an accurate indication of his record. it is an accurate indication of that team.

I'm torn about this.
The Bears can definitely use Cutler in the QB slot, but then again, I think Orton was developing nicely. His biggest flaw is staring down his receiver. Once he conquers that, I think he'll become a solid quarterback.

Fuck Brian Xanders! Fuck Josh McDaniels for ever letting this happen.....
There never should have been any talk about Matt Cassel. Who wants this fucking guy? Tyler Thigpen will be starting for the Chief's by the end of the year! Fuck Pat Bowlen..... Let's fire Mike Shanahan, a proven head coach and offensive mastermind, and bring in a young coach that can only hope to do as well as Shanahan! I know, Romeo and Mangini have shown how Bellichek assistants are great head coaches and leaders! He's been through this shit before with Elway and Reeves, and kept the QB and look what happened..... 2 Super Bowls. Fuck Jay Cutler..... Show up, lead your team in workouts, hear what this guy has to say, and if they don't want you, go to Chicago with some pride. Then sit back and watch Orton hears a Hoo and Mayor McCheese lead the Broncos to the 4 - 12. Fucking millions of dollars and they ruin shit over a dick measuring contest! Anyone wanna buy 2 tickets Giants - Denver, Thanksgiving night! FUCK!

They just became they clear favorite in the central, and should be competing for a NFC championship this year. Wide receiver might be there only hole. Defense, special teams (kicking and return game), running game, and a top 5 QB now. Why wouldn't the Bears be pysched?

You are out of your mind if you think he was the problem with the broncos. You actually think they would be competing without him last year?

What did shit for the broncos was there atrocious defense. I don't understand why you come in and fuck with one of the best offenses in the league.
Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.

With a decent O-line Orton can play the dink and dunk Pats offense, especially with Royal and Marshall. What is Devin Hester going to do in the passing game? Is he even 5 feet tall? I think the Bears will have the better record next year, but the Broncos are matched up against the NFC East/AFC South and the Pats/Colts. The Bears play the Eagles, Steelers, Ravens, and a slew of JV teams. In 2 years, the Broncos will be solid.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

Give Cutler a running game in Chicago and he'll move the ball around. Denver blocking scheme and talent are not what they used to be, and lets not forget the 5 injuries to running backs. Anybody think Peyton Hillis would have been their starting back late in the season? I see Olson and Forte catching some balls next year.
I was intially hot about the hiring of McDaniels, I wanted Spags with a passion. But I got over it, for a little while. Then to hear that a first year head coach, and their first year GM come in and figured somewhere in their minds that the Matt Cassel was right fit for this team is crazy. You have a Pro Bowl qb, and an offense, that when healthy, is pretty damn good. Don't you want to build around that? I realize he plans on taping the opponents side line for an advantage, but that will only go so far! ![]() I am happy with them signing Dawkins, Arrington, Buckholter, and Gaffney, but if they kept Cutler these players mean that much more immeadiately. There were 2, maybe 3 games last year that Cutler couldn't get much done, and I expect that from a young QB. I have to expect they will go heavy defense in the draft, and maybe some O-line. If Chris Simms is the starting QB for the Broncos, I'm gonna lose my shit! More specifically, their second half defense!

The Bears offensive line is not the greatest.. I think there's three new lineman this year. Add that to not really having a wide out, and Cutler's effectiveness drops off dramatically. Forte and Olsen are going to be his best friends.
Hester's fast as hell, but he only catches about 50% of the passes thrown to him... if he even realizes the ball's in the air. There was a game last year that he was wide open in a full sprint and he didn't even look for the ball until after it had bounced off his shoulder. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Bears fan all the way. Cutler's a nice addition, and I hope he can live up to the expectations. It'd be nice to have the Bears in real contention again... without having to depend completely on defense & special teams.

We upgraded our o line some with the addition of Pace the same day we got Cutler, did no one notice. And we had a first round o lineman out for most of the year that played well at the end. He will be healthy and improved this year. I know are line will be much better this year.
We need to add a solid reciever and we will go far this year. |

Juaquin Iglesias, Johnny Knox, Derek Kinder all taken by the Bears. They are some potential weapons. Iglesias has no fear and good hands. I believe he'll be the #1 in no time. Knox is a burner and Kinder has Boldin size and build. Not bad.
