Floyd Mayweather Jr. to fight Juan Manuel Marquez - ESPN

anyone else excited for this?

Looks like Mayweather is going to fight Pacquiao after the Mayweather/Marquez fight.

I am, I would love to see Floyd lose this fight. As great as JMM is, I don't think he'll have the speed or the fire power to pull of a victory, but he definately has the heart.

What's the matter with going right at Manny, Floyd ? I thought you were the best of all time and you fear no one, Floyd ?!

I think JMM is simply too light. He knocked out Casamayor last year when he moved up to Lightweight. But its going to be tough to be a natural lightweight fighting the best welterweight in the world at light welter. You know the fight isnt going to go the distance.

Manny just fought, so he's going to need some time to recover and train for Mayweather. He's already on a 16 month layoff, and Mayweather likely wants to get a fight in as part of his training instead of waiting another year or whatever to fight Pacquiao.

I'm glad to see Mayweather taking some warm-up fights before fighting Pacquiao. That fight will be awesome.
