Is it normal to not feel pumps when power lifting?

Im assuming that it is not usually associated with it. But it's been awhile since I truly dropped down into the 4-8 rep range (as in I can't do more than 6 reps and not just doing 4-8 but still being able to keep on).

anyways so I was doing bench today and did 8, 6, and 6 reps. not really a pump, didn't feel like I do after I do a 12-15 reps set pump or lactic acid build up.

You will get a more significant pump from higher volume/lower intensity sets. That's normal.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

The sensation of the "pump" is not been clearly defined in literature as to a specific cause. There are multiple explanations which haven't been proven. Temperature, pH changes, H+ accumulation along with other ions, and increased blood flow. Lactate in my opinion does not cause the burn (pain) etc. and is a normal metabolic substrate.

It is normal for me not to feel that sensation when I follow a powerlifting protocol with lower rep schemes unless I'm doing extended dynamic (speed) work with low rest.
