Suggestions for Prince As He Customizes Forums

BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS
High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com
I was thinking since Prince is pretty much in the process of customizing the forums, does anyone have any suggestions for features or the appearance of the forums?

Any color schemes in mind guys? I always liked a little darker. Not as dark as the Avant Labs forums, but just shades of dark grey maybe?

Or even silver like the letters of "Iron" in the Iron Magazine in the logo at the top of the page?

I noticed that our sigs can only have a certain amount of characters, not as many as before, is it going to stay that way permamently?

It is still too blue.
The green light to indicate that someone is online is no good. I liked the "Online!"

you can have as many characters as you want in your sig, but only 125 pixels will display, then the scrollbar comes up.

this was the best way I could come up with to control signature length and size without putting any limitation on them. I considered not allowing images in sigs anymore, but did this instead.

Question, in my mind, it was kinda reasonable, but just gonna ask anyway. Why did ya change it from 200 to 100 PM's allowed?

I like the look of the blue, even though it looks a lot like a few other forums.

We just need to get rid of that italicized username stuff.

---Something else that drives me nuts! I think we should be able to edit any of our posts, even ones that were posted forever ago. A lot of times I want to edit old journal entries etc.

I only make them once a day as well. But I am talking in terms of editing old journal entries from a while back, etc.

I personally do not think there should be a limit on how far back you can edit your journal entries.

here is why this is not good...

someone starts a thread and it goes on for 2-3 days, then for whatever reason, maybe the person get s ripped a new one about what they posted (like some bogus crap) so they go back and change their original posts. See what I mean?

And that is just one example of why it's not a good idea to allow indefinite post editing.

What about having different color scheme options?

Go to explorerforum.com and at the VERY bottom of the page on the left hand side, you can choose between 5-6 different schemes.

The Im logo at the top is a link to the forum main page

Oh, one more thing, I already asked this, but got no answer? Anyway, is it possible to add an "Unsubscribe" button into the quick reply? So when I am welcoming new members, that I can unsubscribe from their thread?
