I don´t think that member pictures should be available to everyone in the internet. Only for IM members. It is just a suggestion.

I just think that most people here with family photos, personal photos would not like to have theirs pictures in image search engines.

that is how it currently is, you have to be registered and logged in to view them, so a search engine cannot spider them.
