21 and over restriction in the Anabolic section

BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS
High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com
I would love to see some kind of attempt to restrict all the crazy steroid posting by new members. We just have too many 19 and under members asking for advice on their cycles......all to often when they are half way in. The first post by a 16-19 year old shouldn't be about how to use the steroids they got from their buddy........Am I the only one sick of this???

And yes" place name here " they can read the section if you really think its necessary....but no posting in it or starting threads in it.

I agree to an extent...I mean if they are gonna use (and we know they will, no matter what) why not ensure that they have access to much needed info...Dunno, im torn on this!

I know kids are gonna do what they're gonna do even if you take them to see the worst case scenarios of the consequences first hand. The younger you are the more your mind is set on "those things will never happen to me." That's where the maturity levels sit is how much on the spectrum you realize that yes those things can happen to you. Their best defense is to come here and get the best advice that our knowledgeable wisemen can offer.

Just how would you enforce it? There's no proof of age required at sign-up.

That is something the site would have to do......it isn't very hard to verify age.

just as much as these kids want advice, it's our responsibility to teach them. that doesn't mean promote use... just educate them. some will listen. some will not. those that don't will likely learn life the hard way and it's not your problem. i dunno, i'm on the fence with this... i just don't like the idea of policing people. it sucks.

I'd settle for a decent minimum I.Q.

Oh my God...Is Foreman complaining about OTHER PEOPLE's posts? Just move the offending posts to open chat, it will get lost in all the noise.

It would be too difficult to police the age restriction.

NO WAY

if a teen is tempted to do steriods at least give them to chance to ask questions rather then them not being able to and hurting themshelves.

If a teen wants to take them and we can't persuade them otherwise we should at least guide them in the right direction and help them out.

and anyway people can just lie about their age

you don't have to police it

On the registration to be a member you just add a tickbox you have to tick which reads "you must be this age or over bla bla bla".

Won't stop people but at least it's something.

So, let me get this straight..a kid who is breaking the law and using steriods is going to respect the website rules and not post if under 21?

Reminds me of no-fly zones over stadiums. A terrorist will hijack a plane but will think twice before he violates the FAA's no-fly zone.

This is a tuff topic. It'd be good to tell teens not to take steroids, but you don't want teens learning about steroids. Also it'd be to tuff to moderate that because there'd always be a way of getting in the forum.

By the way don't do those 1000 sit-ups and 2000 curls you are planning.

Just lift hard low reps and eat like a bitch

I agree, because if they already started there cycle and they ask question's why not give them the proper information that they need so that they are safe. Im not saying that taking steriods under the age of 21 is good im just simply staying this site should'nt restrict kid's who have already started a cycle of getting the proper knowledge to ensure that they are safe and do not harm there self or there body more than they may already have. Who know's this could even prevent death's by steriod's in my eye's.

Threads should be deleted if the creator is a fucking idiot (regardless of age). Leave the useful info on the forums, and get rid of the threads (especially in the steroid forum) created by kiddies that have no idea what they're talking about. At least with the useful info, if the kids actually do have steroids they will have access to proper administration of them instead of fucking themselves up. And by no means am I suggesting kids use steroids, I am saying have truthful, useful info up as a means of liability to the forums.

I honestly don't see the point in "caring" for the teenagers who post threads about the steroids they're using. I mean, I'm 16, and from the information from this site and it's users, along with not being a fuckin dumbass... I know damn sure not to try steroids at my age. And I'm gettin sick of seeing people my age who don't feel like putting in the hard effort of researching and putting that knowledge into use, so instead they take the path of steroids, get huge within a few months, then tell everyone they're "all natural". I understand why a teenager would want to try steroids if he/she didn't know of its side effects, but in my oppinion, if they know what could possibly happen to them yet still decide to misuse steroids, then they have to face their own concequences for their actions without the help of others... whom they most likely won't even listen to anyway. If they do their own research and manage to safely complete a cycle, then good for them. But if they don't know what they're doing and get hurt somehow... that's their damn fault. A little heartless yes, but the topic is about teenagers so atleast it's an honest opinion from a teenager.

I think that the kids should learn about this stuff from people that know things instead of their local dealer who will tell them to use 2 times as much. Because once a kid has made his mind up there is probably no stopping him.
