PM Rights

BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS
High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com
What do you guys think about not granting people the ability to send PM's until they get 50 posts or so? Tonight was the 3rd time in very recent memory that Ive gotten PM's from someone who hasn't posted yet, but is trying to draw us to another board.

Ive seen other successful boards do it, with no apparent ill effects.

Whaddya think? I vote aye.

True, I've gotten a few lately as well. On the other hand, I've answered dozens of PM's from noobs, asking relevant bodybuilding questions- who happen to have <50 posts

Im just of the train of thought that if they are forced to spend enough time to post even just 50 posts, then they would try educating themselves. Whereas if they can just shoot a PM, they dont make any effort into their own education.

And then, the obvious spammer problem....

Well, they can just start a thread, and everyone can help them. Also, how hard is it to post 50 times? I mean foreman does it like 5-6 times a day.

I posted 615 times in 10 hours....

but 50 posts before you can send PMs sounds good.

True, but most people have a life and are unable to do that.
