New sections?

BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS
High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com
I think it would be great if four new sections were to be made, were people can post to the relative sport related to weightlifting.

1) Bodybuilding

2) Powerlifting

3) Strongman

4) Olympic lifting

Sounds like a lot but it would be well worth it and many more members would be attracted.

No, no he may have a point there.
Look we can have sub divisions in each thread, let me show.

In training you'll have what he wrote:

1) Bodybuilding

2) Powerlifting

3) Strongman

4) Olympic lifting

And in open chat we will have these threads:

The penis poll

The gay room

The politcal room

you get the idea.

Yes, I think sub-divisions would be a great idea!

It will allow newbies to get a more direct answer and give better and more to the point information for all.

I vote that we have a teen age section and all the babys have to stay there....no posting with the adults untill you turn 21.

For example - The point is a experienced olympic lifter would be more interested in the olympic lifting section, so he would post their mainly.
If a newbie came along and wanted to get in to strongman he could ask all the relative questions in that section were other olympic lifters would help him out.

The newbie would get a more direct/faster answer.

Just makes life a little easier

This is a "bodybuilding and fitness" board, not a strongman, powerlifting or olympic lifting board.

Those are very specific sports and they have nothing to do with bodybuilding and fitness, it would be similar to adding a section on boxing here.

ok i see your point but other bodybuilding forums have these included under training.

Also i mentioned sports related specifically to weightlifting, so the people that come to the board will have similiar interests to strongman, powerlifting etc. (these sports are specific yes, but they do have strong connections with bodybuilding and fitness - many powerlifters/strongmen in the past have converted to bodybuilding and vice versa)

Yes i know boxers weightlift too, but they don't concentrate their main efforts on weightlifting as we do so they wouldn't be attracted to this website

But anyway, it's your board, your rules

Theyre somewhat related.

We also have sex and generall topic forums which certainly, usually, have little to do with bodybuilding or fitness

Or at least it could be said that powerlifting is more directly related to bodybuilding and fitness than sex is

Good point, however I do not think I have ever been to a board that did not have an "off topic" or open chat section.

As far as the sexual health section that was mainly to separate the "sex talk" from the "open chat" section.

You should not be trying to be like other boards, other boards should be trying to be like you.

lol, you are correct!

my only point is that it's pretty much a standard to include an off topic chat section on ANY type of board.

I think Diet should be broken up into protein, carbohydrate, and fat sections with fat further broken down into saturated, unsaturated, and poly/monounsaturated. You could even separate poly and mono unsaturated, but I think that would be overkill.
