Prerequisite for Posting

New members obviously don't read the stickies. If there was someway to make that mandatory--maybe even make them take a quiz--before posting, we wouldn't have 20 people asking what pill will turn their fat arse into a cover model. Many of the new members are getting flammed for asking stupid questions like, "will my balls shrink if I stack low-fat mayo with my tuna and M1T, and if so, will doing 40 sets of curls make them grow back?". It just gets old, leads to having to repeat the same things over, and all to often treating people with less respective than they deserve. I used to be an ignorant curl jockey, myslef. There should be more stickies in certain forums just about where and how one should begin their studies. Otherwise, make ForeskinDrools a mod so he can have authority while tearing into evey newbie.

I agree, I think that newbies need to make at least 200 posts to start posting.

it sounds good, but when we have an average of 125 new members per week it would be a bit of a nightmare to manage.

Just let foreman quiz them. He already posts 125 times a day, and they will bugger off after meeting him anyway.

Thats a good idea but I am far too busy doing important things to be botherd with this.

Or you can just be polite and direct them to a sticky or thread that will answer their question. Just a thought.

I can't see any of the buttons on the board, like the make new thread button. How can I fix this?
