I've turned this feature off:

Use 'Email Notification' by default?
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in.

BUT, I'm still getting emails when someone replies to a thread I've participated in.... Anyone else with this problem? Am I over-looking something??

you have to go edit that specific thread and uncheck the e-mail notification box.

future posts will not "subscribe" you to the thread unless you manually check the box, but past threads still have you subscribed.

make sense?
