The verdict on creatine and water retention?
OK I'm about to use a micronized german creatine product (creapure) and was wondering what you guys thought about water retention with creatine?
I've read that creatine forces water into the muscle cells, volumizing the cells, and that this isn't the same as water retention under the skin. However I've also heard many many reports of people saying you get a puffy, water-holding look while on creatine. How can that be if the water gain is supposed to be just inside the muscle cells? thanks |

yes, creatine causes an increase in intra-muscular water, and it can cause puffiness, more so in some people than others, if it has this effect on you I suggest that you try CEE.
