Question about testosterone levels??
OK I recently had some general blood work done, and it showed Testosterone at 789 ng/dl (converted from nmol/L). So just doing a quick google search this seems decent BUT I'm wondering since this wasn't a test specific to testosterone, maybe the level measured isn't free-testosterone?? How do these tests work are there different ranges for free and bound test etc?? should there be anything I know before getting excited about these levels??
thanks.. also does anyone know when test levels really peak?? most places say it peaks in your late teens which makes sense cause that's when people get most acne, but I've also heard it peaks at like 30?? |

I don't know you age, but for an adult male that is "high normal".

was it a blood test or saliva test? saliva was likely free test, blood likely total.
