    of course it is.

supplements are just that, supplements to your diet. your diet and training are key.

Maybe, I don't really find that true, so many supplements are BS that I generally am on some vitamin/herbs and thats about it other than a carb drink and protein powder during workout.

Most of the other stuff is hype IMO, you find out 5 years later that it didn't end up doing what was claimed (Boron, powdered bull testicles, etc).

I've cut out all supps with the exception of whey post workout, glutamine, and Multi-Vs. I eat a ton of eggs, chicken, beef, fish, milk, and veggies and have found that I gain more with less artificial support.

You cant be serouis chicken you know that with supplementation that you easier get gains. Creatine= rapid cellar hydration. what other way could you gain five pounds in a matter of a week. Also it is way easier to get your proen needs with a supple3ment and most of the time it is lower in fat also

Sure its possible, but maybe not too practical.
I have been trying to make a picture of a
    woman. Changing, yes. Developing, I
    hope. Fantastic, improbable-perhaps.
Quite worthless, quite irritating, if you feel
that way. Or a slightly cockeyed ideal, if
you feel differently. It doesn't matter so
much, so long as you feel that you would
recognise her if you met her tomorrow.

Supplements for the most part (in my belief) are not some magic ticket, get your diet down, spend your money on real food, then think about supplements if you have cash/feel like it, but don't rely on them for something magical they tell you in thier 5 page layouts with hot chicks.

Of course you can build a great physique without supplements. Look at some of the great pre-steroid/pre-supplement physiques of the past as proof!

That being said, I do believe that there a a few really worthwhile supplements out there that can make the muscle building/fat reducing process easier and quicker. I also believe that used properly, supps can increase your overall potential for muscular gains.
