    Creatine and protein counteract?

Just overheard this in the gym:

"dont mix creatine in your protein shake cos they counteract each other"

Any truth to this? cos my pwo shake consists of 45g protein, 1/3 cup oats and level teapsoon of mono creatine

    Wow.

Buddy knows creatine's in steak, right?

Heh. For that matter, creatine's in his own body. Good thing there's no protein in his body!
Wondering where to start? Confused? "Homework 1" will get you started.

Think you're ready for the "next step"? Take this test.

I have never heard of this. I ALWAYS mixed my 5 grams creatine with my post workout protein shake. Never had any problems and clearly had gains.

Was he the one curling in the power cage? If so there's probably truth to his claims.
