    Resveratrol

Anyone have experience supplementing with this?

I was looking around, bored, researching stuff and this supplement appeared promising. It looks like the potential for improved androgen profile, as well as a multitude of health benefits. As always, there are 20 different companies with different versions and different dosages. Biotest is a company that generally puts out high quality stuff, but their product is also more expensive, and a lot of times not worth the extra cost.

I have read great things about it in regards to being a powerful antioxidant and it also has estrogen lowering capabilities, however I believe oral bio-availability is an issue.

Well, there certainly are a lot of positive things being said about it. Of course the jury is out on many of the extreme claims that are out there. And it is quite expensive. But if you can afford it with out trouble, then certainly add it.

I bought 500g of it in bulk powder as it cut down on cost. I quickly found out it tastes like crap and mixes with nothing. So i tried to cap it, and it is not easy to do either. It hops around like jumping beans. Seriously. I only capped 50 and said F it. It was too much hassle. So spend the money and buy it capped already. Look for the highest dose possible and remember that onlt hald of that is actually the active isomer. My studies lead me to find 300mg daily of the active trans-resveratrol is optimized dosing. SO that is actually 600mg of the majority of the products available.

there is not enough proof for its effect on hormone levels, but it is still a viable antioxidant. it was the next great thing, but is steadily losing its buzz.

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy a Free Sample of it with a 14 Day Trial. My friend got Rez and beta alanine and Lost over 300 dollars because they automatically deduct money from Your account. SCAM

I've looked into it too. They say a day's dose is the equivolent to the benefits of 1000 glasses of red wine. I would assume each company has different strengths and quality of ingredients. I'll let you know if I try any. The real resveratrol in a quality powder is very expensive. I've shopped around for the raw ingredients because I am resourceful. It goes for about $500/ per 1000g. Just some info when you are figuring out pricing and dosing.

Ultra Rez 1000, and Beta Alanine Pro. THese were the two "Free Trials" 3.85 charge each from his credit card. They sent him a bottle of each, he started taking it. Then, He got another bottle of the Beta two weeks later. They deducted 86 dollars twice for the beta alanine. They claimed that the 3.85 was only shipping, and if he didint cancel within 14 days of Signing up, not trying the pills. He would automatically be deducted monthly. Same thing happened with the Rez, The company will refuse to give a refund of your money. Two 86 dollar charges PLUS the 3.85 for shipping. SCAM> he could of had beta alanine for 2 years off ebay for 300. Look up Utra Rez 1000 or Beta alanine pro. He had to cancell his credit card, because the day he called about the beta alanine, They charged him another 86 bucks.

I use primordials sustain alpha LV in my pct regiment and it has 100 mg of resveratrol in it.

Other than the anti oxidant properties I've heard about it's liver regenerative abilities but couldn't find much on it other than animal testing.

resveratrol came out and some touted its serm-like qualities. since then i wouldnt trust it as a serm, at all. there is a reason that a major supplier describes it as several things, but a hormonal is not one of them.

I've heard good things when it is used orally as an aggressive anti-oxidant. I've looked into getting some direct, unencapsulated powder and I have to say the stuff is super expensive. I have a background in supplements and I know many companies make their profit by using cheap ingredients. The old saying "you get what you pay for"...is sometimes true. I was told a daily dose is the anti oxidant equivolent of 1000 glasses of red wine..
