    steroid fat loss equivalent

Just like steroids build muscle is there an equivalent which burns fat? I know about diet and excercise blah blah blah and im not expecting to burn fat without those just like you cant build muscle with steroids alone without training, but is there an equivalent to steroids which focuses on fat loss rather than muscle developement?

Okay, let's see what you're getting at here.

Steroids enhance partitioning. This means more of your calories go toward muscle gain through protein synthesis, than toward filling up fat stores.

In the absence of excess calories and hypertrophy stimulus (ie progressive overload, this thing called weightlifting that we do), their effect is minimal.

Fat loss happens when you a) burn more calories than you consume and b) do something to encourage most of the weight you lose to come from fat. Unless you are able to run a deficit, either through eating less or moving more, this will not happen.

There. Now that we've defined the parameters, care to restate your question?

Steroids promote the increase of lean muscle mass, which in turn promotes the more efficient burning of energy sources and not the production of fat.

Its sort of like - you have two things going on - of the stuff you eat, there's the part your body uses (i.e. used to build muscle and fuel metabolism) and the part you don't. The part you don't use is partially excreted and partially deposited as bodyfat.

Fat loss is more about efficiently fueling your body and minimizing the stuff left unused.

I just meant along with the deficit in calorie and excercise is there anything you could take to enhance fat burning. It not so much to lose weight, but you know when you get to like 12% bf your body tries desperatly to hold onto what fat it has and what you were doing before doesnt seem to work as well anymore when you start getting into single digits, i just want something to speed up that process.
