    New post workout product

So I'm almost done with a jar (whatever you want to call it) of Whey protein. It's given me a little bit of results, nothing superb. But I didn't expect half of a jar to give me anything great. Now I am looking for another post workout product to take. Now I am only sixteen to pills like 1-Androstenediol are out of the question. But is there a really good product I can take at my age? I've heard about Afterglow which is something my friend is taking but he isn't exactly someone I want myself to look like. He says he's seen pretty good results, I haven't seen that much from him but I don't really monitor him day to day. So is there a post workout product I could take (drink) that will help me a lot or should I stick buy another thing of Whey protein?

Based on your previous posts, you may have a misunderstanding of the role of supplements.

What kind of 'results' were you expecting from the protein powder?

Your diet and training is what will give you the results that you are looking. They are the foundation. The supplements are just an aid in supplementing any deficiencies that you may have.

Creatine monohydrate, protein powder, a multivitamin, and fish oil is sufficient for now. As you mentioned, there is no need for you to experiment with anabolics.

The creatine provides your body with creatine phosphates to aid your training, the protein powder aids you in conveniently getting in protein you might not be able to get from food, and the fish oil and multivitamins aid in getting in extra DHA/EPA and vitamins, respectively, that you might be lacking from your diet.

It is imperative that you understand that hopping from supplement to supplement is not what will give you results. Protein powder is just protein powder and most postworkout supplements are very very similar.
