I received a container of Chain’d out for free and would like to share my thoughts on this product. I am not a big fan of OTC products and for the most part think they are a complete waste of money. I have seen numerous competitors hit the stage with zero supplements and win. In my humble opinion there is no replacement for solid food.
Chain’d out came in a container in a powder form. Upon opening the product I immediately noticed clumps of solid pieces and areas of uniform powder. I tried to break up the clumps with the scoop provided and they broke apart with some difficulty. It appeared as though the product had been exposed to moisture. I live in a very dry climate and the seal was intact before opening so this must have happened before I received it. About 5 days after using Chain'd out I found another scoop inside the container. It was a smaller scoop size about half the size of the first one I found. I have no idea which scoop size I am supposed to use. This seems like a poor quality control issue.
I mixed 2 scoops (I used the larger one) with 16 ounces of cold water in a shaker cup. The powder and clumps mixed easily and completely dissolved in the cold water and did not foam up. I have used various amino powders previously and most taste terrible. Chain’d out had a strong citrus berry taste followed by a mellow banana taste. There was some bitterness but not very detectable over the sweetener. Overall the taste was good. This is one of the best tasting amino drinks I have used.
BCAA drinks definitely have their place when dieting. I find them ideal when I don’t want to consume fast proteins post training in the form of solid food. I like to weight train, immediately perform cardio and as soon as I am finished use a BCAA drink. Looking at the label of Chain’d out I see no problems. It has what we need and is easy to use.
I recommend this product.
