supplements for a 14 year old

Hello my son will start high school next year, and will be wrestling for them.
he is already working out with them. but im going to start making him do
2 days, working out with the team in morning and i will having him wrestle at night. so i was wandering which supplements would help him heal faster? but wont effect his health in any way for the future. or is he to young for anything? Thanks,

I think he is too young for supplements. Focus on ensuring he's eating a healthy, well balanced diet with lots of protein and he should get great results from that alone. Not only are supplements unnecessary for him at such a young age but you don't want to influence him psychologically from such a young age that he needs to be taking something to get the edge. Let him make his own decision to take supplements when he's old enough but I wouldn't push anything on him at all.

Right on ! His age and well being is the most important thing here. Food! Rest! and more food!!! He will grow with the right foods, and heal with rest.

vitamins are not needed if he has a balanced diet. he should take fish oils if his diet lacks omega 369's

I agree with multivitamins and a careful diet. A low junk diet with plenty of protein & all the exercise he will get training for a match should do.
