    milk or water

    hey ive been told by some ppl that taking your protein powder with water allows more abortion and that milk limits the amount. is this tru

    meh, if it's high fat it will slow, not limit absorbtion. . I like adding with milk, you get a good hit of casein . .

    I mix my protien mainly with water because I don't carry milk around with me but when I am at home, I use milk with my shake I take right before I go to sleep. I agree with TheCapt'n, all it does is slow absorption down. Thats why I think its best to use water for your post workout protien shake. My 2 cents.

    Not sure about the absorption ratio between the two, but I like to use milk for nothing more than it makes the protien taste a little better.
