So my mom bought me some Jakc3d the other day (since I'm not 18) and the guy who worked there told her about this product that was like half odd so of course she bought it. Anyways the product is called MimiCarb Anti-catabolic MegaShred and it's supposed to lose fat and increase muscle definition. I figured I'll take it so 20 bucks doesn't go totally wasted. Anyways it the ingrediants are MCT, CLA, Oleic Acid, and LAuric Acid. So like most other supplements like this, is this just a total waste of $20?
Oleic Acid is a monounsaturated fat, Lauric acid is a saturated fat, CLA is probably going to do nothing but raise your HDL/LDL ratio, as far as I'm aware only natural sources are good for CLA, and MCT? No idea what that is.
But I don't know how much it would help you, if at all. It has no similar ingredients to Jack3d, so most likely it's worthless in comparison.
Not sure where you're getting Pauric acid out of the ingredients:
MCT, CLA, Oleic Acid, and Lauric Acid
MCT is medium chain triglyceride, found in butter and in coconut oil. It's good for you.
CLA - mentioned already
Oleic acid - this is in olive oil, monounsaturated fatty acid as mentioned
Lauric acid - this is a healthy, saturated, medium chain triglyceride
Won't hurt you. Can't say how much it'll help you.

Yeah bro you just wasted $20. This is one of the many supplements you don't need.
Dude... It's called "MimiCarb Anti-catabolic MegaShred"
Really??
Anything with a long ridiculous name like that is pretty much garbage.
Want some good supplements? Try protein powder and creatine. Otherwise focus on your diet and weight training if you want to build muscle.
No supplement in the world is going to magically get you "crazy ripped."
Yeah I figured it was. My mom is one of those women who will buy nearly anything if she can get a good deal or if its on sale. I drink a few protein shakes a day and creatine is in my pre-workout product. I've got a solid diet and lift regularly as well.
@Built: Thanks for the explanations. I'll continue to take them I guess. As long as they won't hurt, then I'm fine. No point in having a bunch of worthless pills in my cabinet.
Haha that's cool man at least you know better now. Keep up the lifting and the eating and you'll start making gains.
Believe me I have made some gains. Now that I have though it just seems to go so much slower. I want something to accelerate it, but I know that nothing can....My problem: I want to get ripped overnight. Which is why I think I fall for supplements and such products.

At least you have figured out that most supps are bs before wasting hundreds of dollars. Just stick with protein and creatine with a solid diet and you will be amazed at what you will accomplish.
