    Creatine Side effects?

Hey guys, i just started taking creatine for the first time and i am loading atm. I am taking Dymatize Nutrition Micronized Creatine so i know its fairly good stuff. I am wondering, my stomach has kinda gone a bit funny since starting loading (monday, its now wednesday) any ideas on what to do? or what the cause is? i take it 4 times a day, about 5g per time, and i take it on both an empty (first thing in the morning) and full stomach (rest of the times) thanks guys

I feel your pain man, loading creatine always gives me bad gas.

Some people say that loading is not really necessary, therefore you could just take 5-10g after your workouts. Others say that creatine salts (such as creatine HCl) are easier on your stomach. Not really sure though

I prefer to load it also and the discomfort is completly normal. It will settle down once you get past the loading phase.

I don't load and I don't have any discomfort. It works all the same whether you load or not. The only difference is that loading makes it kick in a little bit faster, but that's it.

with creatine it's always best to put it into solution then drink the entire mixture all at once. this gives it less time to break down into creatinine. also some people are just sensitive to creatine monohydrate or micronized creatine, so you may want to try kre-alkalyn buffered creatine
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

Creatine monohydrate is very hard on the GI tract in SOME, not all users. For those who DO have problems like this with CM, Kre-alkalyn is a "Godsend!"

    No stomach issues!!!!!
