I just wanted to put this out there as I am seeing an increase in posts like "supplements are worthless" and its variants. I thought the purpose of this section was to educate as to what is worthwhile, and what is a ripoff and what is outright crap; to help. That is how I view this section, and how I try to post. I fail to see the value in coming to this section simply to bash supplements and crack jokes. That is not to say there isn't a place for that, but at least explain why you think a certain supplement is crap (many of them ARE crap). So, let me know, what do you see the purpose of this section is?
The purpose of this section is to share experience and(sometimes)scientific evidence of the real world results of supplementation with over the counter legal products. That BS aside the facts are that the're are far more snake oil products being peddled to the lost and desperate souls out there than anyone wants to admit. Some supplements work fairly well but even then most of those would work better and be more affordable in higher doses than are available. The bashing, flaming and name calling comes in due to the fact that people hate to be told that Jay Cuttler didn't win the Olympia because he used NanoVapor especially after they just went and spent half of what they make every week asking if you would like your order supersized to buy it.The other part of the problem comes from the fact that supplement companys(not all mind you,but enough of them)use unscrupulous tactics to sell these products;therefore they go on the attack anytime anyone asks a question about the science behind their claims or wants to know the amounts of certain ingrediants in their proprietary blends. If this offends anyone, then it's you I'm talking about and I'm offended you're offended.Back to your original question nni you said it very well in the stickie that you posted in this section but it appears very few people have read it.
Honestly, I see the greatest value of this section, as being peer reviews. Like the last thread we were in, I asked you if you had personally taken that product. You responded with a study, I don't believe supplement funded studies. Muscletech has probably been to every University in the country and the results from those studies were always spectacular. Their product certianly don't deliver those results though. So I come here for reviews from people that have actually taken the product and to share my experiences with the products i've taken. Don't get me wrong i'm not going to try some product, because some random guy says it's good. If you would have said that you personally tried that product and it was all that, I would have bought it and tried it out. You've always been honest and since there would have not been a conflict of interest I would have believed you. Otherwise I view all new supplements, by default, as worthless or unnecessary. Because 99% of them are.

if you notice the muscletech studies are always on one ingredient, not the formula. thats how they get you, underdose that one ingredient but use the study as proof. i know the guys at gaspari, so i know what went into the study, and i post it without second thought. i responded in the other thread to you.this thread wasnt directed at you, but many of the driveby posters.
